Over the past 35 years, Greg Ramola of TotalChaos Aviation LLC has amassed more than 18,000 hours in 66 different aircraft, 23 of those being tailwheel models. His passions are tailwheel flying, aerobatics, seaplane flying, and building.

In 2013 Greg was introduced to the RV-7 and was hooked. He went on to build and complete his own RV-7 in February 2021. Since then he’s enjoyed assisting and guiding other RV builders in the construction of their aircraft along with providing initial test flights, transition training for new owners, aircraft ferrying, annual flight reviews, and additional pilot program services during Phase 1 testing.

Greg has time and has provided training in the RV-4, RV-6, and RV-7/7A. For pilots of RV-4, RV-6/6A, RV-8/8A, RV-9/9A, and RV-14/14A, training will be done in the RV-7. Greg is currently a Captain for JetBlue and holds ATP and Commercial certificates along with a Gold Seal CFI/CFII/MEI. The best way to contact Greg is through email.
